Trama - Un bimbo in fasce viene trovato nella garitta all'esterno di una caserma: un biglietto ne attribuisce la paternità ad un certo Felice. Il colonnello comandante ordina che vengano interrogati tutti i Felice presenti per scoprire l'interessato e costringerlo a fare il proprio dovere verso la madre del bimbo. Il primo Felice della serie crede in buona fede che il piccino sia suo; ma accerta poi che il bimbo nato dall'unione prematrimoniale con la fidanzata, si trova presso la balia. Un secondo Felice si dichiara padre del trovatello per ottenere il permesso di uscire dalla caserma. Portando con sé il piccino, va ad un appuntamento galante; ma la presenza del piccolo provoca tanti contrattempi ed equivoci che l'appuntamento va in fumo. Il terzo Felice è un componente della squadra pugilistica, al quale il quarto, il caporale Felice, ha soffiato subdolamente la fidanzata. Mentre si svolge un incontro pugilistico, arriva l'ordine di arrestare il pugile, che si ritiene essere il padre snaturato, per sottrarlo alle ire della fidanzata. Sul quadrato sale al suo posto il recalcitrante caporale di giornata, il quale, oltre ai pugni dell'antagonista, riceverà una severa lezione dalla madre del piccino, venuta a constatare de visu l'identità del seduttore.
